What this site keeps

Nothing that identifies you, unless you log in. Here is all of it.

Just visiting

The site has no ads, and it sets no cookies while you browse. Pages load their fonts from Google and the list of who is online from Discord, so those two see your browser's request. So does Cloudflare, which hosts the site.

Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't follow you from one site to another. For each visit it records the page you opened, the page you came from, your kind of browser and device, your country, and how quickly the page loaded.

Logging in

Log-in is through Discord and is for guild members. Discord tells the site your Discord ID, your nickname and avatar in the Coalition server, and which roles you hold there. It doesn't share your email, your password or your messages.

The site keeps your Discord ID, your nickname and avatar, whether you are an officer, and when you first and last logged in. It refreshes those each time you log in. It also keeps what you add: the characters you list, and the screenshots you upload with their captions and tags. Other members can see your profile; visitors see your screenshots with no name on them.

To hold the daily limits, it keeps a count of how many screenshots you uploaded and how many reports you made today, with your Discord ID. A day's counts are removed once the day is over.

Reports and officers

A member can report a screenshot to the officers. That sends a message to the officers' private Discord channel with a link to the screenshot, the nickname of the member who uploaded it and the nickname of the member who reported it. The site keeps a note of who reported which screenshot, so the same report isn't sent twice.

An officer can remove a screenshot, log a member out, and stop a member uploading. The site keeps a list of the Discord IDs of members who have been stopped from uploading.

Cookies

Logging in sets two cookies that last seven days: one keeps you logged in, and one tells the page that you are. A third lasts ten minutes, while you are on Discord's log-in screen. Logging out removes them and ends the session.

Having it removed

Your profile has a "Delete my account" button. It removes your account and everything you added: your screenshots, your characters, your reports and your log-in. A copy of an image that a browser has already loaded can last up to an hour longer.

Three things stay. Today's counts stay until the day is over, so that deleting an account can't start a daily limit again. If an officer has stopped you uploading, your Discord ID stays on that list, so that it still holds if you log in again. And a message already sent to the officers' Discord channel stays there, with your nickname in it.
